본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 성격유형과 비인지적 핵심역량의 관련성을 분석하고, 이를 통해 비인지적 핵심역량의 특성을 파악하고 이를 교육적으로 활용할 수 있는 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 핵심역량은 변화하는 시대에 필요한 기초능력으로, 개인의 성격 및 정서와 같은 심리적 요소들과도 관련이 있다. 21세기 성공을 결정짓는 요인으로서 인지적인 역량보다는 비인지적 역량이 주목받고 있으며, 비인지적 역량은 대학교육과정을 통하여 쉽게 길러지지 않는다고 보고되었다. 비인지적 역량이 어떠한 요인들과 관련되어 있으며, 어떻게 개발시킬 수 있는지에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자, 본 연구는 성격유형이 비인지적 핵심역량(자기개발, 대인관계)에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 대학생 92명을 대상으로 하여 대학생핵심역량진단(K-CESA)와 U&I성격유형검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 대학생의 성격유형이 이들의 비인지적 핵심역량에 일정하게 관련되어 있었다. 대학생들은 규범적일수록 또한 탐구적일수록 자기관리 역량이 뛰어났다. 대학생들은 또한, 행동적일수록 대인관계 역량이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 자기관리역량과 대인관계역량 모두 하위요인에 따라 관련되는 성격유형이 다르게 나타났다. 성격의 특성에 기반하여 일관성･안정성을 가지고 있는 성격유형를 참고로 대학생들에게 개별화된 교육프로그램이 제공된다면 핵심역량이 강화될 수 있을 것이다.
This study was designed to analyze the relationship between personality type and non-cognitive core competence in college students. Core competence is basic ability in order to adjust in changing society and related with psychological factors such as personality and emotion. To analyze the effect of personality type on the self development and interpersonal relationship, two factors of K-CESA non-cognitive core competence, 92 college students were selected and went through the K-CESA and U&I psychological test. As a result, Actual-Routine Learner and Conceptual-Specific Learner showed higher self management competence. Actual-Spontaneous Learner had a tendency to be good at interpersonal relationship competence. In both of self management and interpersonal relationship, sub-factors had a certain impact of different personality type. Based on the understanding personality and personality types in college students, programs to enhance core competence will be albe to individualized.
