This article aims to pave the way for activate parents research and establish oneself as a discipline that explore to the disciplinary identity of parentology(parent's studies). Parent's studies has not been theoretical systemized yet as a discipline. To do this, firstly, searched for the necessity of parentology and the causes of poor disciplinary systematization. Nextly, examined the meaning of discipline and the requirement for establishment of a discipline, and analyzed the disciplinary possibility of parent's studies. Lastly, established the concept of parents and parentology, also find out characteristic trait of it. As the result, it is necessary to further research and disciplinary systematization concerning the disciplinary identity and the researching boundary of parentology.
