본 연구에서는 대학수학능력시험 등급에 따른 대학생의 인지적ㆍ정의적 학습양식의 특성을 비교 분 석하였다. 이를 위해 대학입학시 수능 등급에 차이가 있는 전국 7개 대학교 1,025명의 대학생에게 인 지적ㆍ정의적 학습양식 검사를 실시한 후, SPSS 16.0 프로그램으로 일원분산분석과 Scheffe 사후검증 을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과 및 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수능 등급이 높은 대학의 학생들은 인 지적 학습양식 중 직관적, 전체적, 심층적 특성이 강하다. 반면 수능 등급이 낮은 대학 학생들은 비 학업적 성향이 강하다. 둘째, 정의적 학습양식 중 상호작용 요소에서 수능 등급이 높은 대학 학생들 은 독립적으로 학습하는 특성이 강하며, 중하위권 학생들은 의존적인 특성이 강하다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the traits on the cognitive and affective learning style of university students by CSAT grades. CALSIU(The Cognitive & Affective Learning Style Inventory for University School Students) by Kim, E. J. was modified for applying to university students and performed with 1,025 university students from seven universities in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Daejeon and Jeonju, Chungnam. Statistical analysis done in this study were ANOVA and Scheffe’s test. Findings of the study are as follows : First, the students with high CSAT grades have high intuitive perception, whole processing, and deep storage & recall traits. They have low non-academic trait. But the students with low CSAT grades have strong non-academic learning trait. Secondly, the students with independent type get high academic achievements. Therefore, parents and instructors should consider the cognitive and affective learning styles of students and teach them the learning strategies of getting overviews of context, in depth, of studying independently.
