This study aims to find out the influence of developed based RPG(role playing
game) on Arithmetic Operations for students with intellectual disabilities.
In order to verify the hypothesis, this study selected as study objects, 30 students
living in S metropolitan city who are taking middle school level classes in H and D
special-education schools, with their parents’ consent. 15 of them were assigned as
experimental group and the rest were put in control group. It verified the effect on the
ability to Arithmetic Operations of ANCOVA.
Is the conclusion of the study, First, the experimental group that used mathematics
game showed a significant improvement compared to the control group who had
traditional teacher-centered classes. Second, mathematics game had a meaningful effect
in addition and subtraction, but not in multiplication and division.
