Objective : The purpose of this study was to survey the perception of voucher service of occupational
therapists in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam.
Methods : This research used questionnaire for occupational therapists worked in Busan, Ulsan,
Gyeongnam from May to June of 2011. Analysis of research data used for descriptive statistics
for general information and used one-way ANOVA for perception of voucher service
generated by SPSS for Window 17.0 version.
Researchs : Worked in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam occupational therapists to 89 survey questionnaires's results
was followed. Lower awareness of voucher service except for voucher definition and children
with disabilities to know whether the implementation of rehabilitation projects. The perception
based on general information, in the field of therapeutic child care and working in the
field a private treatment facility workers showed a high awareness of the voucher. In addition,
all respondents said occupational therapist need to children with disabilities rehabilitation
service.
Conclusion : Occupational therapists should be understand the voucher service and identified consumers need
of the occupational therapy. Strive to improve on the current voucher system and required to
occupational therapists have their own active interest and participation of voucher service.
