Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure and characteristics of nursing college students' personality- based on multicultural families. Method: A Q-methodology was used to identify factors in nursing college students' personality-based multicultural recognition. The 34 selected Q-sample from each of 31 subjects were classified into a shape of normal distribution using a 9 point scale. The collected data was analyzed using a QUANL PC program. Result: The analysis identified three types of the recognition of multicultural families in nursing college students. The categories were labeled ʻrecognition of equalityʼ, ʻrecognition of prejudiceʼ, ʻrecognition of potential conflict potentionallyʼ. Conclusion: The findings of this study will provide fundamental data about multicutural education program for nursing college students. Also, results of this research indicate that there is a need for nursing college students to understand variety of multicultural families.
