Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the differences, relationship in contraception knowledge, contraceptionself- efficacy, among university students. Methods: A descriptive research design was used. In this study, 280 university students by a convenience sampling method. Data were collected through personal interviews in the form of questionnaires from December 10 to 17, 2015. this stidy used were independent t-test, One way ANOVA, pearson correlation. Results: The major findings of this study were as follows: (1) The mean scores of contraceptive knowledge, contraceptive self-efficacy were 8.13±3.34, 37.07±10.11, respectively. (2) Contraceptive knowledge among the students significantly differed according to the Gender(t=6.844 p=.009), Sexual experience(t=3.973 p=<.001) (3) Contraceptive self-efficacy significantly differed according to the Sexual experience(t=.072 p=<.001). (4) This study could know that was positive relationship between contraceptive knowledge and contraceptive self-efficacy. Conclusion: These results provide information to improve their knowledge of contraception and a sense of self-efficacy a real and extensive sex education program has to be develop.
