Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the incidence rate of influenza-like-illness(ILI) and influencing factors
of Taekwondo training children. Methods: The data were collected from 223 children under the age of 18 from June 1st
to June 20th, 2015, participating in the Taekwondo training. Data were analyzed using the SPSS18.0 program. Results:
First, in the past epidemic period, the incidence rate of ILI was 8.5%(19 people). Second, in the difference of incidence
rate according to the general characteristics, there were significant differences in school level(p=.012), residence(p=.032),
total exercise time per week(p=.007). Third, the multivariate analysis revealed that the total exercise time per week(odds
ratio=0.72, p=.015), and the place of residence(odds ratio=0.16, p=.008) were significant factors. Conclusion: We expect
that attending Taekwondo training persistently will be strength the immunity, and then those efforts will be helpful to respiratory
