Purpose: The primary purpose of this study was to examine what effects married early childhood teachers'
parenting experiences have on after-school classes of which they are in charge and how their experiences in
motherhood change and develop them as professionals. Method: Participants of this study were 5 teachers with
parenting experiences who were currently responsible for after-school education at a private kindergarten located
in B metropolitan city. Profound interviews with each of the five teachers were conducted two times,
approximately 60 min for each interview. Results: First, the participants indicated that the most important thing
for children in after-school program would be day-caring rather than educational activities. Next, the teachers
with parenting experiences responded that their childbirth and parenting experiences changed their view of
children. Finally, the participants used their parenting experiences for their after-school program. Conclusion: As
this results, more importances of after-school class discussed about caring by married teachers with parenting
experiences.
