노동이라는 개념은 역사의 흐름에 따라 변화하였지만 근본적으로 “사람이 생존을 위해 행하는 경 제적 활동”이라는 범위를 벗어나지 못했다. 이러한 노동의 개념은 사람과의 관계 속에서 사람의 가치 를 ‘역할 가치’와 ‘교환 가치’로 제한하는 결과를 가져왔다. 하지만 사람의 가치는 ‘교환 가치’와 ‘역할 가치’를 뛰어넘는 ‘그저 있는 그 자체로서의 가치’, 즉 ‘존재가치’이다. 사람의 존재가치는 다양한 생물 학적 진화의 관점을 통해서도 드러날 뿐만 아니라 사람은 ‘타자와 함께 산출한 세계를 살아갈 수 밖 에 없는 존재’라는 사실을 통해서도 잘 드러난다. 신체적, 정신적, 정서적, 사회적 장애로 인해 사회 가 요구하는 역할을 잘할 수 없거나 노동시장에서 자신의 노동력과 임금을 교환할 수 없는 사람들은 현재 노동의 개념으로 보면 ‘잉여인간’일 수밖에 없다. 현재의 노동개념 속에서 급격한 발달을 지속 하고 있는 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence, AI)은 수많은 잉여인간을 만들어 낼 뿐이다. 하지만 ‘사람’이 살아가는 사회에 잉여는 있을지라도 ‘잉여인간’이 존재해서는 안된다. 잉여인간의 굴레를 벗고 ‘있는 그 자체’로써 사람의 가치가 인정되는 사회는 ‘노동 개념의 재정립’을 통해 이루어질 수 있다.
Though the concept of labor has been changed by the course of history, it didn’t go outside the scope of “economical activity that human being do to live”. Such concept of labor eventually limited the value of human being, on the human relationship, to ‘role value’ and ‘exchange value’. However, the value of human being is, exceeding the ‘role value’ and ‘excange value’, the ‘value of just to be’, that is to say ‘being value’. The being value reveals itself well not only by the pertpective of the biological evaluation, but also by the fact that human being ‘can’t live without the world that is made with by others’ Those who can’t hold the socially given role or excange their labor for wages becouse of physical, psycological, emotional, social disabilities are the ‘surplus men’, judging by the current concept of laber. The AI(Artifical Intelligence) maintaining the sharp advance in the current concept of labor merely produces a number of surplus men. But for the society that ‘human being’ lives in, ‘surplus men’ must not exist, even ‘surplusage’ can be. ‘Reestablishment of labor concept’ can make a society where the value of human being is accepted as ‘just to be’, breaking away the fetters of ‘surplus men’.
