본 연구의 목적은 SAFMEDS(Say All Fast a Minute Every Day Shuffled) 전략 사용이 특수교육진단평가와 관련된 용어 회상의 유창성을 향상시키는지 알아보는 것이다. 연구 대상은 특수교육을 전공하고 있 는 대학생 20명이다. 연구 대상자가 1분동안 정확하게 반응한 용어의 수를 종속변인으로 사용하였다. 참여자들은 1분동안 플래시카드 앞면에 인쇄된 용어의 정의를 보고 뒷면에 인쇄된 용어를 말하도록 하였으며, 정반응과 오반응의 수를 세어 즉각적으로 표준속도차트에 기록하게 하였다. 총 14회기동 안 진행한 결과, 대부분의 참가자들은 14회기가 진행되는 동안 정반응이 증가하고, 오반응이 감소하 였다. 본 연구를 통해 SAFMEDS 전략을 사용하는 것이 전공 관련 용어에 대한 참가자들의 회상 유창 성을 향상시켰음을 알 수 있었다.
This study is concerned with the learning of special education terminology by special education pre-professionals in Korea. It aims to investigate the effect of Say All Fast a Minute Every Day Shuffled (SAFMEDS) on fluent recall of terminology related to special education assessment. The subjects were 20 college students majoring in special education. The number of correct response in a minute were used as a dependent variable to answer the researcher questions of current study. Participant were required to see the definition of the term printed on the front of the card and say the term printed on the back of the card in a minute and count the number of correct responses and the number of incorrect responses and record them immediately on the Standard Celeration Chart over the course of 14 sessions. It is much safer to say that SAFMEDS improves students’ fluency in performance. Most of participants showed an increase in correct responses and decrease in incorrect responses over 14 sessions. It is effective to use SAFMEDS on fluent recall of terminology.
