본 연구의 목적은 라쉬모형을 적용하여 시각장애 초등학생의 일상생활 기술 평정척도를 개발하는 것이다. 연구대상자는 시각장애학교 초등과정에 재학중인 101명이었다. 연구도구는 일상생활의 4개 하위 영역의 132개 문항으로 구성된 설문지이며, 교사가 6점척도로 평정한 자료를 Winsteps 프로그램으로 라쉬분석을 하였다. 부적합 대상자를 제외한 문항 적합도 판정에서 영역별 3~8문항이 부적합하였다. 즉 건강과 안전 영역은 15문항, 의생활 영역은 32문항, 식생활 영역은 25문항, 가정생활 영역은 35문항이 적합하였다. 일상생활 수행능력을 평가하기 위한 항목을 영역별로 난이도 순서에 따라 배열할 수 있었으며, 평정척도는 4점척도가 더 특성을 잘 나타내 줄 수 있으며, 분리 신뢰도도 대상자나 평가문항 모두 우수한 수준임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 라쉬분석을 이용하여 개발한 시각장애 초등학생을 위한 일상생활 기술 평정척도는 신뢰도와 타당도가 입증된 평가 도구이다.
This study aimed to develop a independent living skills rating scale for elementary students with visual impairments and blindness by applying Rasch analysis. The subjects for the study were 101 elementary students at school for the blind. A questionnaire containing 132 items in 4 subcategories was rated by 6-Likert scale. Rasch analysis was then applied by means of the Winsteps program. Excluding misfit subjects, there were 3~8 misfit items in each category. The following number of items fit in 4 respective subcategories: 15 items in health and safety, 32 items in clothing, 25 items in eating and cooking, 35 items in household. The items were arranged from the easiest to the most difficult by subcategory. The 4-Likert rating scale was appropriate for this and separation indexes also turned out excellent in both subject and item. Therefore, the independent living skills rating scale for elementary students with visual impairments and blindness turned out a reliable and valid rating tool.
