value of educational app. Method: This study is to investigate the perceptions of the use of apps and how to
practice practical application for early childhood education on selected 225 pre-service and 78 kindergarten
teachers for the survey. The study conducted t verification, the categorical multiple response analysis and
crosstab for data analysis. Results: The results of the study are as follows. First, teachers are more positive than
pre-service teachers about the use of apps for early childhood education. However, both groups show that they
can use the apps for early childhood education applications positively. Especially, it was perceived that the app
for early childhood education will help children to learn and develop, and will help to maintain and promote
self-directed learning and concentration. Second, in order to effectively utilize the apps for early childhood
education, they preferred art experience and communication as activity areas, story-telling and music and rhythm
in classroom, and evaluation type and simulation type as class. On the other hand, pre-service teachers and
kindergarten teachers have common problems in utilizing infant education apps, such as lack of technology of
teachers' smart devices or apps, lack of ability of infants, smart devices and apps. Conclusion: These results
suggest the following five conclusions. First, pre-service teachers will be provided with smart education related
courses so that various theoretical and practical knowledge related to infant education app can be disseminated
and for the kindergarten teachers, it is necessary to find various experiences and examples in the area of Nuri
course, class activity, and class area to provide practical help. Second, thorough education about negative effects
considering the specificity of early childhood education will be necessary rather than guiding effective teaching
strategies about application of infant education app. Third, it is necessary to continuously carry out validation
studies on expanding the five senses or developing infant education apps based on learning analytics. Finally, in
order for apps for early childhood education to be effectively implemented in educational context, it is necessary
to change perceptions of early childhood education field and change parents' perceptions through various policy
research, teacher training and so on.
