Recently, urgent subject in industrial society are established the foundation of resources supply system on progressing to rapid speed and variety. Solution method of this problem are realized the recycling society, resource circulation society, sustainable developing society and low carbon/green growth society. Recycling of urbane mine are delayed in drain of mineral resources and decreased the environmental contamination. The present general article discussing about status and technological trend of metal recycling in Korea. It divides five parts namely back ground and necessity of recycling as first part. Metal consumption, production, import and metal stock reserves as urban mine resources in part two and general metal recycling of Iron scrap, ELV, E-Wastes and Industrial wastes in urban mine resources as part three. Finally, representative recycling plant of nonferrous metallurgy in Korea presented in part four follows by summary as final part.
