목적: 본 연구는 경상도 지역 작업치료사의 노인학대 인식과 목격실태를 조사하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 경상도 지역에서 근무하는 71명의 작업치료사를 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 수집된 자료 는 SPSS18.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 모든 통계학적 유의수준은 p=.05로 하였다. 연구결과: 작업치료사의 노인학대에 대한 관심은 보통 이하가 72.4%로 높지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 작업치료 사는 신체적 학대를 가장 심한 학대로 인식하였고, 정서적 학대를 가장 덜 심한 학대로 인식하였 다. 대상자의 91.5%가 노인학대를 목격한 경험이 있다고 응답하였으며, 방임과 재정적학대를 가장 많이 목격하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구 결과 작업치료사의 노인학대에 대한 관심과 인식은 미비하다. 앞으로 작업치료사 분야에서도 노인학대에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.
Objectives : This purpose of this study is to explore knowledge and conditions of elder ebuse of the occupational therapist in kyoungsangdo. Methods : A survey was provides to 71 occupational therapist in kyoungsangdo. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS 18.0 statistical program. All statistical significance level was to p=.05. Results : The occupational therapist is usually less than the interest elder abuse is not high as 72.4% was seen. Occupational therapists recognized physical abuse as the most severe abuse and emotional abuse as the slightest abuse. 91.5% of subjects witnessed elder abuse, the most frequent abuse was financial abuse and next neglect. Conclusion : Occupational therapist's interest and awareness of elder abuse is the insufficient. And Actively progressed research on elder abuse should be considered in Occupational therapy.
