이원분산분석의 결과를 해석하는 일반적인 과정은 먼저 상호작용효과를 검토하여 그 결과가 유의하면 그 성격부터 파악해야 한다. 상호작용의 성격을 파악하기 위한 방안의 하나로 단순주 효과 분석을 실시한다. 본 논문에서는 교사의 직무만족도 분석 자료를 예시로 하여 구체적인 단순주효과 검증과 유의한 단순주효과에 대한 사후검증 및 효과의 크기산출 방법을 탐구하고 단순주효과를 직접 검증하는 메뉴가 없는 SPSS에서 이를 구현하는 방법을 제시하였다.
The general process of interpreting the results of two-way ANOVA should first examine the interaction effects and, if the results are statistically significant, then determine their nature. One way to understand the nature of the interaction is to analyze the simple main effects. In this paper, detailed methods of testing simple main effects, post-hoc test for simple main effects, and methods for calculating the effect sizes are provided. And the way to perform these analysis with SPSS where no direct menu for these purposes are suggested.
