This study aimed to identify the effects of self-efficacy on job satisfaction in female
personal assistants by verifying the mediating and regulating effect of work ethic. To this
end, data collection was executed by conducting a survey of female personal assistants
aged over 40 in Gyeonggi province and finally a total of 258 questionnaires excluding
missing data were used for an analysis. As a result, it appeared that work ethic had a
complete mediating effect on the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction in
female personal assistants. Based on the findings from this analysis, this study presented
policy and practical implications for increasing job satisfaction and improving quality of
life for female personal assistants.
