Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine high school students’ awareness of calling, career decision
self-efficacy, and career maturity in general. Method: Distributed a survey to 306 high school students and
performed the t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis on their valid data by using
SPSS/WIN 20.0. Results: According to the results of examining if there is any difference in high school
students’ awareness of calling by genders or religions, there is no significant difference in their calling as a
whole by genders or religions; however, among the subvariables of calling, transcendental calling indicates
statistically significant difference by genders and religions. Second, statistically significant and positive correlation
was identified calling and career decision self-efficacy, and calling and career maturity. Conclusion: As a result,
all the subvariables of calling have been found to show statistically significant effects on the subvariables of
career maturity.
