간호교육의 목표는 질 높은 이론교육과 실습교육을 통하 여 전문직 간호사로서 질적인 간호를 제공할 수 있는 우수 한 간호인력의 양성에 있다(조학순, 2007). 임상실습은 이 론의 가치를 경험하고 실무에 적용할 수 있는 기회로 이론 과 실제의 차이를 좁힘으로서 간호대학생이 임상환경에 적 응하고 간호사로서 역할을 확고히 획득해 직업관을 세우는 데 필수적인 요소이다(오금숙, 이미경, 2015).
Purpose: This study was to compare nursing professionalism, role conflict and major satisfaction of nursing students according to clinical practice experience. Method: Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from 116 nursing students without clinical practice experience and 110 nursing students with clinical practice experience. The data were collected in March 2017 and analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Result: Nursing students with clinical practice experience showed a significantly higher score in social awareness of nursing professionalism(t=-2.224, p=.027) and a significantly lower score in role conflict(t=2.077, p=.039) than nursing students without clinical practice experience. Conclusion: Nursing educators' efforts are needed to improve the level of clinical practice education so that nursing students contribute to forming desirable nursing professionalism by reducing role conflict in clinical practice and improving majors satisfaction.
