본 연구의 목적은 가족커뮤니케이션 패턴이 여가라이프스타일에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 가족커뮤니케이션은 사회화과정의 근간이 되고, 여가라이프스타 일 유형은 심리건강이나 삶의 질에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 가족커뮤니케이션 패턴은 순응지향성과 대화지향성의 속성으로 나누어 분석하였다. 이에 본 연구는 여가에서 비교적 소극적인 집단으로 분류된 여고생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실 시하였다. 총 1066명의 설문 응답을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 평균값을 단순비교 하였을 때 여고생들에게 가족커뮤니케이션 패턴은 순응지향성 보다 대 화지향성 속성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 여가라이프스타일에서는 감각추구 성향 이 가장 높았으며 그 다음 관계중심, 합리적계획, 일중심, 그리고 여가 무기력 순 으로 높은 성향을 보였다. 회귀분석 결과에 따르면, 대화지향과 순응지향 모두 합 리적계획, 감각추구, 관계중심 여가라이프스타일에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤고, 영향력은 대화지향성이 순응지향성보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 부정적 여가라이프 스타일인 여가무기력성과 일중심성에는 순응지향이 유의한 정적인 영향을 미쳤 다. 본 연구는 여가 취약계층인 여고생을 대상으로 여가학에서 비교적 미흡하게 연구되어온 가족의 영향력을 실증적으로 살펴본데 그 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of family communication pattern on formation of leisure life styles. Family communication is a root of individual socialization and leisure life styles may take an important role for psychological well-being and life quality. Family communication pattern contains two dimension, conformity-orientation and communication-orientation. A survey method was employed with female students in highschool, who are seemingly outsiders in leisure activity. The total 1066 answers were collected for the final analysis. The result follows. First, with mean values, respondents reported a higher value of conversation-orientation than conformity-orientation in family communication pattern. Regarding leisure life styles, sensation pursuit was the highest, and then relationship centeredness, planning, work centeredness, and leisure lethargy, orderly. Second, according to multiple regression analysis, the positive leisure lifestyles such as rational planning, sensation pursuit, and relationship centeredness were positively influenced by both communication-orientation and conformity-orientation, but more strongly by communication-orientation. Meanwhile, the negative leisure lifestyles such as leisure lethargy and work centeredness were positively influenced by conformity-orientation.
