The purpose of this article is to find out perceptions of the Korean Army by Joseonjok multicultural family members in Korea and effective education methods for them.
As a result of the surveys and face-to-face surveys, the Joseonjok family members in Korea are afraid of joining the Korean Army. However, these fears were found to be a mental pressure from the lack of knowledge about the enlistment process and military life rather than the use of firearms and hard training.
As a way to improve the awareness of the Korean Army, the article proposes the army experience-type education plan that reduces the fear of the army, the curriculum for the improvement of the multicultural index, and the educational method utilizing the image data for the interest inducement and the intimacy.
