This study is made by revising and modifying highschool students’ sexual
self-determination program, which apply the reality therapy of a sexual self-determination
(kang, Dool-Soon, 2005) program to fit a school girl's sexual assertiveness action. This
program is composed of the contents to improve their self-esteem on the basis of sexual
assertiveness training.
I, the researcher, practiced the sexual assertiveness training programs to my highschool
students and compared their scores of self-esteem sense. After conducting the analysis
of variance about self-esteem for comparing the difference among the groups, I could
find significant improvement in prior examination and inspection, prior examination of
results.
In conclusion of this study, the program of sexual assertiveness can be useful for
adolescents’ sexual development by means of sex education programs about teenagers’
communication rather than by using this program. I hope that adolescents could be given
the opportunity to promote their self esteem sense through right sexual assertiveness by
using this program. Also, I wish diverse sexual assertiveness could be develop into more
practical programs by means of revision and modification continuously.
