시각장애인들은 장애로 인하여 심리 사회적 적응에 어려움을 겪을 수 있으며 이에 따른 효과적인 심리 사회적 지원을 하기 위해서는 시각장애인의 삶의 과정에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 기초적인 연구가 필요 하다. 본 연구는 시각장애성인의 삶의 과정에 영향을 주는 삶에 대한 태도, 자신에 대한 이해와 인간관 계의 개인적 특성을 탐구하는데 목적을 두고 실시되었다. S시의 전문 직업훈련기관 소속 시각장애성인 76명을 대상으로 인생 각본, 자아 상태 및 스트로크에 대한 조사를 진행하였으며, 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애성인 중 비승자 각본이 가장 많았고, 다음으로 패자가 많았으며 승자 가 가장 적었다. 자아상태 하위요소 중 양육적 어버이 자아가 가장 높았고, 타인과의 관계에서 는 긍정적 스트로크를 높게 주고받는 편이었다. 둘째, 시각장애성인의 인생 각본 유형에 따라 자아상태와 스트로크 하위 유형 점수 간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 시각장애성인의 자아상태와 스트로크 유형 간에 정적 상관이 있었다. 심리 사회적 지원을 제공하는 관련인들은 각 시각장애성인이 지닌 인생 각본 유형, 심리 적 에너지를 나타내는 자아상태, 스트로크 교류 방식을 이해하고, 시각장애성인이 건강하고 안정된 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 지원하는 노력을 기울일 필요가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate life scripts, ego-states and stroke of adults with visual impairments. The targets of this study were seventy-six adults with visual impairments at the vocational center in S city. The questionnaires(life script checklist, egogram checklist and stroke scale) were administered to the subjects. Results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, non-winning script accounted for the most significant portion among script patterns, as followed by losing and winning scripts. The highest ego state of adults with visual impairments was of the nurturing parent(NP). Among stroke patterns, positive stroke accounted for the most significant portion of all, followed by no-stroke and negative stroke. Second, there were significant differences between ego state and stroke patterns among life script groups. Third, there were positive relationships between ego state and stroke patterns of adults with visual impairments. Understanding the life script, ego state and stroke of each of adults with visual impairments is helpful for operating psychological and social support system efficiently.
