본 연구는 한국과 중국 기혼자녀를 대상으로 하여 가족주의 가치관이 부양스트레스에 미치는 영향 을 파악하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 2014년 1월에서 2014년 3월까지 한국과 중국 기혼자녀를 대상으 로 설문조사를 하였고, 최종적으로 한국 기혼자녀 304부, 중국 기혼자녀 295부, 총 599부를 분석 사용 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 한국 기혼자녀의 경우, ‘가족원으로서의 의무감’이 높을수록 속박감이 높아지 는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 중국 기혼자녀의 경우, ‘지지원으로의 가족’이 높을수록 관계악화가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 부분적이긴 하나 가족주의는 부양스트레스를 가중시키는 것으로 나타났 다.
This study aims to identify what impact the familism value has on the degree of caregiving stress particularly for the married adult offspring in Korea and China. To achieve these goals, this study makes a questionnaire survey with 304 Korean married adult offspring and 295 Chinese ones. First, the analysis of what the familism of the Korean and Chinese married adult offspring have on caregiving stress shows that the Koreans feel a higher sense of bondage depending on their sense of obligation as a family member. Seconf, for the Chinese married adult offspring, those who have a higher sense of familism as a source of support, tend to show a higher level of relation aggravation. In conclusion, familism partially turns out to increase the degree of caregiving stress rather than easing it.
