본 연구는 첨단 IT 기기의 과다사용여부에 따라 일상수행능력과 관련된 요인을 규명하고자 시도하 였다. 자료수집은 2014년 10월 27일부터 11월 28일까지 수도권 지역의 종합병원을 내원한 환자 234명 을 설문 및 면접조사를 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미디어 사용시간이 4시간 이상이 과다 사용 성향군이 과소사용 성향군보다 유의하게 높았다(X²=13.94, p=0.01). 둘째, 우울증을 자주 느끼는 경우가 IT 기기 과다사용 성향군이 비과다사용 성향군 보다 5.1배 유의하게 높은 분포를 보였다 (OR=5.1, 95% Cl=2.6-30.1). 결론적으로 부정적인 감정과 IT 기기 과다사용을 줄이기 위해 개인의 특 성에 따른 다양한 교육프로그램이 필요하다.
This study was conducted to identify the factors related to daily performance ability on whether there is advanced information technique(IT) equipment overuse. Data were surveyed using interview and questionnaires by 234 patients who visited a general hospital which was located in Metropolitan area from October 27 to November 28, 2014. The results of this study are as follows. First, with regard to media use time, overuse group which used media over 4 hours was significantly higher than non-overuse group(X²=13.94, p=0.01). Second, in a case of impression, the odds ratio of IT equipment in the overuse group which frequently take place impression was significantly higher 5.1 times than non-overuse group(OR=5.1 95% Cl=2.6-30.1). In conclusion, there is a need for various kinds of education program according to personal characteristics to reduce the occurrence of negative emotion and IT equipment overuse.
