프로그램 학습성과(Program Outcomes; PO)는 공학교육인증 프로그램을 이수한 학생이 졸업하는 시점에서 갖추어야 할 자질과 능력으로 공학교육의 직접적인 목표라고 할 수 있다. 학습성과 달성여 부는 교육평가(측정) 후 이를 교육목표, 교육과정, 평가도구, 평가방법에 피드백 하여 자율개선순환구 조(close-the-loop)을 통하여 지속적인 질 관리(Continuous Quality Improvement; CQI)를 실현하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 PO8(평생교육)의 능력에 대한 학습성과 평가체계의 개발 절차 및 인증학생과 비 인증학생간의 학습성과평가 사례를 소개를 통하여 학습성과 분석결과를 기초로 학습성과 평가체계, 평가도구 개발 그리고 프로그램의 운영 등 교육개선에 활용하고자 한다.
The core of accreditation for Mechanical Engineering Education is to improve the ability and quality of graduates through a CQI(Continuous Quality Improvement) system based on outcomes. In this paper, we proposed the effective assessment system for the Program Outcomes on the Lifelong Education skill competence(PO8), which is one of the 12 program outcomes stipulated by ABEEK(Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea). The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the program outcome(PO) for mechanical engineering program, In order to achieve the objectives of this study, we analyze the evaluation system on measuring and analyzed methods of PO8. Therefore it is expected that the assessment system established in this study will allow universities to conduct program outcomes and assessment.
