The digital tachograph has been mandatory in commercial vehicles by government enactment since 2011.
This device is a recording device to collect car's speed, mileage, GPS location information, and it identifies
and analyzes driving forms by the information collected through this. However, Common driver is difficult
to use the function of the Digital Tachograph for a commercial vehicle driver's operation to the target. For
this reason, in this study, to understand and analyze the dangerous driving behaviors common driver, and it
is purpose of design of the smart phone application that provides results.
Dangerous driving decision algorithms used in this study is based on the definition of dangerous driving
to Korea Transportation Safety Authority provided.
The results were analyzed by the application, real time is provided to the user in, thereby trying to
reduce the accident rate by inducing the safe driving of a driver.
