본 논문의 목적은 정보영재아동의 정보영재성과 예술영재성의 상관관계를 분석하는 것이다. 현재 영재교육은 2013년 이후 정부의 시책에 따라 융합영재교육의 형태로 운영되고 있다. 이에 따라 정보 영재교육과정에 있어서 정보영재아동은 정보과목 뿐만 아니라 수학, 과학, 예술, 기술 등 다양한 융합 과목을 포함하여 운영하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보영재아동의 융합과목에 있어서 특히 예술영재성 과의 상관관계를 연구하는 것이다. 본 연구목적을 위해 서울시내 한 대학부설 영재교육원의 정보영재아동을 대상으로 재학기간의 성 적을 기초로 상관관계를 분석하였다. 통계처리 및 분석 결과 정보영재성과 예술영재성의 부(-)의 상관 관계가 있음을 나타내었다. 즉 정보과목 점수가 높으면, 예술과목 성적이 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 정보영재교육과정 구성에 중요한 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze correlation between giftedness in IT and artistic giftedness for the gifted children in IT. Currently gifted education is going on as a form of convergent education according to government policy since 2013. Therefore, in current gifted curriculum for the gifted children in IT, various convergent subjects such as mathematics, science, arts, and technology are included as well as information subject. In this paper, correlation between giftedness in IT and giftedness in convergent subjects especially artistic giftedness is analyzed. For this research purpose, the gifted children in IT who have attended a gifted education center affiliated with a university at Seoul are selected. Their scores are gathered and analysed. The thorough statistical results indicates that there is negative correlation between information subject and artistic subject. It means that the higher scores information subject is, the lower scores artistic subject is. The statistical results can be used as important baseline data on gifted curriculum for the gifted children in IT
