Korean Karaoke (Norebang) is a place which where both openness and closeness exist simultaneously. One of the important purposes that people go to the Norebang is to increase the intimacy between individuals. Therefore, Norebang is not a mere singing place but a place where people communicate and interact with each other, and entertain themselves. To interact with each other effectively, not only the role of the singer, but also the role of the listeners is important. Nowadays, several IT services have been incorporated into the music devices used in the Norebang. However, such services have been mostly oriented to the singer. In this paper, we briefly review the role of the audience in traditional Korean musics like Pansori. Then, based on the review, we propose several actions of the audiences which are proper in the Norebang. Finally, based on the definition of proper actions of the audiences, we propose new IT services which can help the interaction of the audience.
