본 연구는 최근에 강조되는 지식 융합의 가치에 대하여 긍정적인 공감을 하면서 그 구체적인 전략 방안에 대하여 탐색한 것이다. 지식 융합에 대한 당위성이나 중요성에 대한 논의는 다양하게 전개되 고 있으나 지식 융합의 구체적인 전략에 대한 논의는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 그 방 안으로 내러티브의 가치와 중요성에 주목하여 그 특징을 살펴보고, 내러티브를 활용하여 지식을 융합 하는 전략을 개괄적으로 탐색해보고자 하였다. 내러티브는 다양한 의미로 논의되고 있으나 그 핵심적 의미는 스토리텔링, 사고방식, 의미 구성 방식이자 의미 구성의 틀로서 이해될 수 있다. 본 연구에서 는 이러한 의미들을 종합하여 지식융합의 전략 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 그 핵심은 지식의 속성이 이야기적 성질을 지나다는 점이다. 이러한 의미를 활용하여 지식을 다양한 방식으로 통합할 수 있으 며, 본 연구에서 논의되는 통합 방향은 내러티브나 스토리텔링 학습에 근거를 둔다. 이들 방향은 장 차 정보화 사회와 미래 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 인간의 핵심역량 개발에 중요한 기여를 하는 방향으로 정교화될 필요가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to search the direction for integrating knowledge based on narrative. Recently the discussion about knowledge convergence or integration has been emphasized for the purpose of restructuring the world of discipline in the science. For the achieving the research goals, we first search the meaning and nature of narrative, and bridge narrative to knowledge integration. Since 1980, the various study about narrative has been discussed along the value and importance of the narrative. In this article, we checked the methods of knowledge integration and four meanings of narrative: discipline-based integration, language and literature-based integration, theme-based integration, and issue-based integration. These modes of knowledge integration are transformed into tool logic, storytelling, core subjects, and discourse mode based on narrative. We anticipated the possibility of knowledge convergence through narrative and storytelling learning
