The purpose of this study was to find out th relationships between ego resilience and self efficacy of
pre-clinical practice of nursing students. Data were collected form 230 pre-clinical practice of nursing
students at 2 universities located in Gwangju, from October 1 to December 30, 2015. The data were
analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0 Program, Which determined frequency, percentage, mean, standard
deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s test, Pearson correlation coefficient. The nursing students investigated a
mean of 2.88 and 3.49 on ego resilience and self esteem. Results indicated that the relationships among
ego resilience and self efficacy were statistically significant(r=.539, p<.001). The self efficacy and ego
resilience was significantly high in those whose were friendship, interpersonal satisfaction, health status,
department satisfaction. On basis of these results, in order to pre-clinical nursing students, it is necessary to
develop self efficacy and ego resilience improvement program in extracurricular courses.
