The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of parenting experience on parental
anxiety and parental satisfaction according to time. This study set up the following
research problems. First, what is the effect of past parenting experience on current
parenting anxiety and parent satisfaction? Second, what is the effect of past parenting
experience on current parenting anxiety and parent satisfaction for Korean parents?
Third, what is the effect of past parenting experience on current parenting anxiety and
parent satisfaction for Japanese parents? The results of the study are as follows. In both
Korea and Japan, the effects of parenting experience on the current parental anxiety as
mediating variables did not have a significant effect. Also, it was found that affection
had a direct effect on satisfaction, and control had no significant effect on parents'
satisfaction. However, in the effects of current parenting anxiety on parents' satisfaction,
the higher the parenting anxiety level, the more static effect that stress level shows,
while the higher the parenting anxiety level, the higher the stress level, And the
negative effect of low level appeared simultaneously.
