기존연구에서 평생교육 참여동기가 노후생활이나 삶의 변화에 어떠한 영향을 주는지에 대한 연구 가 대부분이었다. 지금까지는 교육의 본질인 교육효과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지에 대한 연구는 드물다. 평생교육은 교육자의 삶의 질을 향상시킨다는 측면에서 사회적으로 교육적으로 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 대학을 포함한 정부, 민간 등의 평생교육 시장이 계속적으로 성장하고 있으며, 노인층에서 벗어 나 다양한 연령층이 평생교육에 참여하고 있다. 평생교육참여 동기의 요인은 기존연구에서 도출되었 으며, 연구모형은 설문방식을 사용하여 실증적으로 검정하였다. 기초적인 통계는 SPSS 22.0을 사용하 였으며, 가설검정을 위하여 Smart PLS 2.0을 사용하였다. Smart PLS 2.0은 편미분 방식의 구조방정식 이다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과를 요약해보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평생교육 참여동기의 요인 중에서 목표지향과 활동지향이 교육만족도에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 가설은 채택되었으나나 학습지향이 교 육만족도에 유의하다는 가설은 기각되었다. 둘째, 교육만족도가 교육효과성(자기효능감, 성취욕구)에 모두 유의하다는 가설은 채택되었다.
Most of the researches on the motivation of participation in lifelong education affect the life of the elderly and the change of life in the .previous researches. Until now, research on the effects of education on the nature of education is rare. Lifelong education emphasizes social and educational importance in terms of improving the quality of life of educators. The market of long-life education is continuously increased by government and civilian including university, various age groups are involved in long-life education. apart from the elderly. Factors of participation motivation in long-life education were derived from previous studies, the research model was empirically tested using the questionnaire method. SPSS 22.0 was used for basic statistics and Smart PLS 2.0 was used for hypothesis testing. Smart PLS2.0 is a structural equation method of partial least square. The empirical results of this study are summarized as follows. First, goals oriented and activity oriented significantly affect education satisfaction among the factors of participation motivation in long-life education, but learning oriented does not affect education satisfaction. Second, education satisfaction significantly affect self-confidence and achievement needs in education effectiveness.
