As sexual opening has been rapidly developed with social stream and change in 1980s and 1990s, most people who felt the change in consciousness of sex are married now. Sex culture in society also influenced sexual consciousness of the disabled who live in the society. 1'here were a lot of researches on what variables affected such a sexual consciousness with non-disabled persons, but there are little sllch researches with disabled persons and there are little researches comparing sexual consciousness between disabled and non- disabled persons. Differences in sexual consciousness between disabled and non-disabled persons should be examined and whether such a difference, if any, is caused by disability factors or not should be investigated. Therefore this study examines differences in sexual consciousness between married disabled and non-disabled persons and if significant differences in such a sexual consciousness as a result of research are found, it aims to investigate whether disability influenced their sexual consciousness. Research problems of this study are as follows. 1. It examines whether there is a significant difference in sexual consciousness between disabled and non-disabled persons. 2. It examines whether sllch a difference, if any, is caused by disability. This study consists of positive research method using questionnaire to analyze difference in sexllal consciousness between disabled and non-disabled persons Subjects of questionnaire are total 260 married disabled and non-disabled persons. 1'0 analyze the results of questionnaire, disabled persons felt sex less important compared to non-disabled persons and are less open to sex. 1'0 make disabled persons understand and enjoy sex more actively in their marriage life, fundamental sex education is needed. In addition, they must be able to enjoy happier life with right consciousness and practice of sex. For having right attitude and recognition of sex, they must be able to accept sex culture based on infoπnation of right sexual life. Therefore, some tasks should be settled for right sexual consciousness, sexual life and sex culture of disabled persons. First, several alternatives of satisfying sexual desires should be sought to give thcir life vigor and increase their satisfaction with marriage Second, sex education with disabled persons should be performed to make them know right knowledge and information of sex. Third, social atmosphere should be made for disabled persons to recognize sex rightly and get their sexual satisfaction
