Some parents and educators believe that comics are just entertainment, and they cannot be considered as an efficient learning tool; however, others argue that comics provide a potential learning approach and also motivate children’s interests in learning. This study states that comics are appropriate materials to utilize as a teaching tool for young children’s learning due to young children relying on visual learning most and comic books exactly provide such kind of supports for them. In order to clarify the above statement, it is necessary to understand the concerns that some people have against children reading comics, as well as the impact of visual art on children’s learning in their early childhood.
