본 연구는 다문화 신념, 다문화 감수성 및 다문화교육 실천수준의 변인에 주목하여 이들 변인에 대한 유아교사의 인식 정도와 상관관계를 살펴보고, 다문화 신념과 다문화 감수성이 다문화교육 실천 수준에 미치는 영향력을 살펴봄으로써, 유아교사의 다문화교육 실천수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변인의 고찰과 함께 이들 변인의 증진 방안을 마련하는데 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 유아 교사 253명을 대상으로 진행하였으며, 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 유아교사의 다문화신념, 다 문화 감수성, 다문화교육 실천수준에 대한 인식에 대한 결과로 모든 변인에서 보통 이상의 긍정적인 인식 정도가 나타났고, 유아교사의 다문화 신념, 다문화 감수성, 다문화교육 실천수준 간의 상관관계 에는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났으며, 유아교사의 다문화 신념과 다문화 감수성은 다문화교육 실천수준에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 유아교사 의 다문화 실천수준에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인의 중요성과 필요성을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the level of awareness of multicultural beliefs, multicultural sensitivity, and multicultural education, and to examine the influence of multicultural beliefs and multicultural sensitivity on the level of multicultural education practice, and to provide suggestions for the improvement of these variables as well as consideration of the variables that positively influence the level of practice of multicultural education for early childhood teachers. This study was conducted on 253 early childhood teachers. The results of the study are as follows. As a result, multicultural beliefs, multicultural sensitivity, and practice level of multicultural education positively, and these variables showed statistically significant positive correlations. In addition, multicultural beliefs and multicultural sensitivity were analyzed to have a significant effect on the practice level of multicultural education. Based on the results of this study, this study discussed the importance and necessity of major variables influencing the level of multicultural practice of early childhood teachers.
