This study examined subjective oral health status and quality of life relating to oral health impact on
daily performance(OIDP) in nursing students. The subjects were nursing students who agree to participate in
research Daejeon, Chungnam. 477 nursing students were fill out the questionnaire by smart-phone apple
from Nov. 15 to Nov. 21. 2014. Results were analyzed by using SPSS program ver. 22.0. The analysis
results are as follows: Especially the most oral heath problems in nursing students are 'eating and enjoying
food' and 'smiling, laughing and showing teeth without embarrassment'. This is caused by 'tooth-ache' and 'odontoparallaxis'. However, 'tooth-ache' and 'odontoparallaxis' is happened by various factors. and further
study will be required to examine the cause and therapy of oral health problem. In this study, we
identified the quality of life relating to the factoring affecting the oral health in nursing students. This
result will be used to identify the factors affecting oral health and use effective oral health improvement
and program refinement.. Accordingly, it is required to develop a more specific and systematic oral health
program.
