Despite the continued increase in the number of multicultural families, their difficulties is still ongoing
in South Korea. In order to solve these problems, the role of the Korean father is more important than the
role of foreign married immigrated mother. Therefore, we examined the program status for the multicultural
families and discussed ways to improve the right settlement of multicultural familiy parents related to child
support. 217 healthy families support center installs and operates in the country. They have 503 education
programs for multicultural family, but most of the programs associated with bilingual use, family
relationship, culture and marital relations. Besides, they are mostly multicultural education for mothers and
it is treanforming into integrated education programe due to lack of participation and prejudice. Based on
research results, this study analyzed development and performance of father education programs for the multicultural family and the results provided as basic data for the multicultural education. Futhermore, the
current study is valuable in the following that these findings suggested development needs and direction of
a multicultural education program just for multicultural families.
