In the course of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the 2000 Lisbon Convention emphasized the role of lifelong education in improving the quality of life and enhancing competitiveness of individuals. In 2005, the German Federal Ministry of Education continued to engage in continuing education, lifelong education, and lifelong education at the tertiary education level, even after completion of vocational education through innovation. The purpose of this thesis is to examine trends in the development of lifelong education in the German occupation by the age, and to analyze implications of the education leave system(Bildungsurlab), promotion education law, which is characteristic of lifelong education in the occupation, and suggest implications for revitalizing lifelong education in Korea. The characteristics of the lifelong education system in the German occupation sector are aimed at improving the quality of life of the workers through the excellence in the connection of college degree acquisition of workers, diverse student loan system, and educational leave system. The purpose of lifelong education in vocations is to help all of us to benefit from lifelong education and to play a role as a citizen of a democratic society.
