연구의 목적은 중등교원임용 교육학 논술시험의 타당성을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2014~2017학년도 중등학교 교사 임용후보자 선정경쟁시험 교육학 제1차 시험 기출문제의 평가 내용 및 문항을 분석하였다. 기출문제 평가 내용의 경우, KICE(2008)의「교육학(공통)」의 교사 자격 기준과 평가 영역 및 평가 내용 요소를 중심으로 분석하였으며, 기출문제 문항 의 경우, 지문과 문항 내용에 대해 미래교사역량을 중심으로 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 중등교원임용 교육학 논술시험 에서는 다양한 세부전공 지식을 측정하고 있으며 특히, 교육행정 및 교육과정에 관한 내용을 중심으로 타 세부전공 내용을 측정하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 미래교육에서 요구되는 교사 핵심 역량 중 이해 역량을 측정할 수 있는 방향으로 서 술형 문항이 구성되는 것으로 나타났다. 교육학 논술시험 시행 4년간의 기출문제 분석을 통해 도출한 중등교원임용 개선을 위한 제안점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the validity of the essay type examination on pedagogy for secondary- school teacher’s license. In this study, we analyzed the content as well as the items of the essay type examinations on pedagogy that were administered from 2014 to 2017. For the analysis of the content of evaluation covered in the examination, we used the KICE(2008)’s guideline on the evaluation domain and content in pedagogy. For the analysis of the questions and reading passage, we used the key competencies for future teachers as our analytical framework. Our results suggest that a wide range of domain and content in pedagogy was covered in the essay type examination for the past four years. We also found that all six examinations contained questions pertinent to the content in the domains of educational administration and curriculum. As for the questions and passages used each year, we found that most of them were designed to evaluate the teacher candidates’ competency of understanding. Based on our analysis, we discussed the implications of our study and provided suggestions for the revision of the essay type examination on pedagogy for secondaryschool teacher’s license.
