본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 출판된 다문화와 관련 메타분석 연구의 질을 평가하는 것이다. 분석의 대상은 2000년 1월부터 2016년 2월까지 다문화와 관련하여 국내에서 출판된 메타분석 연구이다. 검색 데이터베이스는 학술데이터베이스서비스(Databasepia: DBpia), 학지사 뉴논문, 한국학술정보원(Korean studies Information Service System: KISS), 국회도서관(National assembly Library), 국가과학기술정보 센터(National Digital Science Library NDSL), 한국교육학술정보원(Research information sharing service: RISS)를 이용하였으며, 검색어로는 “다문화”와 “메타분석”을 이용하여 검색된 총 9편의 논문 을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 질 평가를 위한 도구는 AMSTAR를 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 총 9편의 다문화와 관련된 메타분석 논문 중에서 4편이 낮은 수준, 5편은 중간 수준의 질 정도로 평가되 었으며, 논문의 질이 높은 수준의 논문은 없었다. 포함된 논문의 질 평가 총점은 11점 만점에 4.1점으 로 나타났으며, 연구의 대상은 다문화 아동과 가족으로 한정되어 있었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 나 타난 결과에 기초하여, 메타분석 연구의 질을 높이기 위해 메타분석 연구 시 가이드라인을 따라 수행 해야 할 것과 앞으로의 다문화 관련 연구에서 연구영역의 확장을 해야 할 필요성이 있음을 제언한다.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of meta-analysis on multi-cultural family published in South Korea. Relevant meta-analyses were identified through searches of the National Assembly Library, NDSL (National Digital Science Library), KISS (Korean Studies Information Service System), Hakjisa, and the DBpia and RISS4U databases from 2000 to Feb 2016. We analyzed 9 meta-analyses using AMSTAR, a validated tool for assessing the quality of systematic reviews. The analysis results are as follows: 4 studies were rated as low quality, 5 as moderate quality, and none as high quality. The mean score for the reviews was 4.1 (range 0–8). The subject of research is limited to multi-cultural children and families. Based on the result of data analysis, we suggested that meta-analysis should be conducted to follow the guideline for improving the quality and focus various domains for expanding the research in multi-cultural family.
