본 연구는 탈북 후기 청소년들의 교육과 진로 탐색에 대한 경험과 직업 사회생활에 대한 경험에 대 한 내러티브 탐구를 수행하였다. 사회가 통합을 이루기 위해서 그들의 가장 근본적인 문제와 우리 사회 가 과제로 삼아야 할 것이 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 그들에게 실행되어지는 교육에 대한 실태를 파 악하고 직업과 삶이 연관되어 사회 구성원으로 공동체 안에서 건강한 관계를 맺으며 만족한 삶을 살 수 있도록 교육적인 측면에서 다루어야 할 것들이 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 4명의 탈북 후기 청소년들 의 심층면접을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 그들의 근본적인 문제로는 트라우마와 개인의 정 체성이며 우리 사회의 과제로는 국가 공동체의 정체성의 문제를 해결하는 것이다. 교육의 부재, 발달의 문제, 기초역량부족의 문제를 안고 있는 탈북후기청소년들에게 실무 중심적이지 못한 남한의 교육의 문 제점이 그대로 나타나고 있으며 그들에게 기회로 제공 되어지는 취업 교육은 단기적이어서 충분한 준비 없이 바로 우리 사회에 진입하고 있는 실정이다. 소명으로서의 직업 교육과 윤리 의식을 포함한 충분한 역량 개발이 이루어 질 수 있는 교육이 장기적이고 체계적으로 실행되어야 한다.
This article studied the experiences about education and looking for job and career life of North Korean post-adolescents entering Korean society through narrative inquiry. I was supposed to find out their key problems and the assignments for our social integration. I looked into the reality about their educational problems and looked for what training is needed to them in the real workplace, for their joyful and happy personal lives and healthy relationship within our community. Through in-depth interviews of 4 North Korean post-adolescents entering Korean society, this study drew conclusions for this. Their key problem is trauma in their mind and their misunderstanding about identities. The assignments for our social integration is to have correct understanding about the identity of national community. In short of the education, the matter of personal immature, and lack of basic social ability, the problems in Korean society are being mirrored to them. Therefore they experienced the job education program in the short run, they entered into Korean Society with little practical preparation. The education programs must be run in the long-term and systematically to improve competencies including sense of calling and ethics should be provided.
