The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the Edu-Care program,
also including the Care, therapeutic educational program can not cure only
children but the elderly with dementia.
The positive effects of the Edu-care programs on preschool, as well as
primary school children has been reported throughout other countries. To
examine to what extent the Edu-care program is successful, To start with,
I’ have studies on each of the present stat programs for dementia elderly,
and applied to edu-care program models to dementia elderly. Also, I
suggested edu-care program model for dementia elderly.
Research task of this paper is as following :
1. What kind of programs and institutions are for dementia elderly in
Daegu and Gyeongbuk?
2. What is edu-care programs' necessity for dementia elderly?
3. What is edu-care program model for dementia elderly?
First, the programs for the Daegu and Gyeongbuk dementia elderly were
most therapy programs with the conclusion against a research. Also, the
uniform programs were advanced. The elderly and the child there is a
common point which is the possibility of becoming trade connection. It will
reach and to lead the necessity of edu-care program is demanded. It
proposes the compatible program for the dementia elderly.
