본 연구의 목적은 초기 청소년의 공동체의식을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안으로서 통합예술치료 프로그램의 가능성을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 통제집단 사전사후검사설계로 초등학교 6학년의 공동체의식 향상을 위한 통합예술치료 프로그램을 구성 하여 효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 소속감, 조화, 자발적 참여, 공공의식, 일체감 및 상호 영향 의식을 포함한 전반적인 공동체의식이 유의하게 상승한 반면, 통제집단에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과는 초기 청소년의 공동체의식 향상을 위해 통합예술치료 프로그램이 효과적인 중재가 될 수 있음을 의미한다.
The purpose of this study is to identify the possibility of the integrative arts therapy program as a way to improve the sense of community of early adolescents. For this purpose, the integrative arts therapy program for enhancing the sense of community in the 6th grade of elementary school was constructed by the control group pre–test. As a result of the study, the overall sense of community increased significantly in the experimental group, but there was no significant difference in the control group. These results indicate that the integrative arts therapy program can be an effective intervention to improve the sense of community in the sixth grade of elementary school students.
