This study is investigate '04("Youngyua-Boyuk" law)-, the law of early
child edu-care now is Korea-in the focus of 'woman-child' provisions, to
examine into matters closely. Finding results are to follow.
First, it was found our that the law related to early child edu-care the
1945 Liberation of Korea was developed on the basis of the
"Chosenkuhoryong" practiced in a period of Japanese power in Korea.
Second, Working mothers are still considered to be socially negative of
regarded with contempt. This clearly indicates the state`s viewpoint of
women vases the ideology of motherhood. Since early child edu-care policy
does not function as a means of supporting the inducement of women`s
economic activities, such a phenomenon, that women`s superior labor force
becomes inactive in the labor market, keeps on.
The early child edu-care policy now in Korea is in an important turning
point that it should not look back the past but make great strides.
At this point of time, the government should promote its early child
edu-care policy as its core strategy; and the final task to be done in the
first place is to achieve to convert the old idea of mother and children to
the innovative idea of them. And then conclusively the point view of
government must be convert to positive, universalistic, and practical attitude.
