과학․의료기술의 발달, 경제성장 등으로 한국은 가장 빠른 노인인구 성장률 을 보이고 있다. 이러한 노인인구의 증가는 국가에 심각한 문제의 원인이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 고령화사회의 문제점들과 노인역할 프로그램을 제 시하는데 있다. 따라서 고령화사회와 노인역할에 대한 이론적 논의, 노인인구에 대한 현황, 다 른 국가들의 노인역할프로그램을 비교함으로서 한국의 노인역할 프로그램으로 취업활동프로그램, 자원봉사프로그램, 상호교류프로그램 등을 제시하였다.
With the development of science and medical technologies, the economic growth and so on, Korean Society is aging at the fastest rate. The rapid aging of the population will cause serious problems for the nation. The aim of this study is to find out the problems in the aging society and propose the role of th Aged. Therefore, the Concept of the Aging Society, the Aged Role and the present conditions of the Aging Population are described by comparisons of the Aged Role Programs with others countries. So, the Aged Role Programs in Korea like employment program, volunteer program and communication program are proposed.
