In this paper, This study was to describe the meaning of experiences on welfare leisure activities of old age women. The interview data were collected from old age women in a welfare leisure center and analyzed by using descriptive phenomenology of Colazzi. The procedural steps was that described the phenomenon of interest, collected participants' descriptions of the phenomenon, extracted the meaning of significant statement, organized the meaning into them clusters, wrote exhaustive descriptions and then incorporated data into categories. The result of study was 86 restatements, 32 constructed meanings, 16 themes, 8 theme clusters, and 4 categories. Through analyzing the process, four categories were deduced (Considering for a prop of social life, Turning concerns to health, Becoming a health community, Self compassion about her life). The finding have an understanding that experiences on health promotion of old age women. Futhermore, we hoped that the results would be apply as a fundamental data for health promotion planning.
