교육연구에 있어서 세 개 이상의 범주형 변수 간의 관계 탐구하는 다원빈도분석(다원교차분 석)은 그 필요성이 매우 높음에도 불구하고 수학적이나 개념적으로 너무 복잡하고 대부분의 문 헌에서도 일반적인 연구자들이 이해할 수 있는 개념 정립이나 분석절차 등이 잘 제시되지 않고 있어 널리 시행되고 있지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 분석에 적용되는 로그선형모형의 수학적, 이론적 의미와 더불어 실제적 의미를 탐색하여 개념화하고 모형분석의 전반적 과정에 대하여 SPSS를 활용한 분석절차를 탐색하고 예시자료를 사용하여 실제 분석과정을 제시하여 교 육연구 현장에서 보다 용이하게 자료를 분석할 수 있도록 하는데 도움을 주고자 하였다.
In educational research, even though it is very important and highly demanded to analyze among three or more categorical variables (multiway crosstab analysis), these analyses have been used scarcely because conceptualization and mathematical aspects are very complex and difficult and these are not fully presented in such a way that general researchers easily understandable in the most text books. In this paper, the mathematical and theoretical meanings of loglinear models which are used for multiway crosstab analysis and practical meanings and conceptualization of these analysis were inquired. In addition, it was provided the actual overall analysis procedures of SPSS using example data.
