전치부의 심미적 만족도를 높이기 위한 임프란트의 3 차원적 최적의 위치는 이미 잘 알려져 있다. 그러나 이는 임프란트를 식립하기 위한 bone이 협설측으로 임프란트 직경보다 최소 3-4mm가 더 존재하고, apico-coronally로 인접치아의 CEJ와 2mm-3mm 내외에 있는 경우에는 심미적, 기능적으로 가능하나 임상에서는 그 보다 부족한 경우도 많은 것이 사실이 다. 본case는 협측으로 노출된 임프란트의 심미적 문 제를 GBR과 soft tissue management로 해결한 case report이다.
Correct 3-dimensional implant positioning based on a restorative - driven philosophy is already well-known. When orofacially the dimension of the pre-existing alveolar bone is 3-4mm greater than that of the implant and apicocoronally the platform of fixture exists within 2-3mm of the CEJ of the adjacent teeth, esthetic implant placement is possible. However, in many cases, we encounter deficient bone structure and volume. This case report describes a technique for the resolution of denuded implants, which result from narrow bone, by using GBR and CTGraft.
