In this study, we developed a portable system with simultaneous measurements of
physiological and kinematic signals for using in walking motion analysis. This system consists of two
parts; Digital and Analog parts. In digital part, 8-bits micro-controller was used to control the whole
system and log the measurement data sets into the micro-SD card. In analog part, an electric circuits
were mounted to acquire walking motion and physiological signals. A 3-axis accelerometer was used
to measure the motion signals. A breathing and electrocardiogram amplification circuits were designed
for measuring physiological parameters. From the pilot test, all data were logged into the micro-SD
card stably without data loss. It is expected that various studies on a comprehensive evaluation of
complex motion analysis with acceleration, breathing and electrocardiogram while in walking
movement by using this system.
